JACEK Chocolate Experience: Coffee, Tea & Chocolate Pairing

Are you ready fort this? Head to Fort Edmonton Park’s DARK for a frightful experience. This is a great way to start off the spooky season. But, make sure you bring a friend because you will need someone to use as a human shield!

Haunted Pumpkin Festival

When: Weekends from September 28-October 31

Where: Prairie Gardens

Looking for the perfect event that the entire family can enjoy? Then you will want to gather your crew and head to Bon Accord for the Haunted Pumpkin Festival located at Prairie Gardens Adventure Farm. Featuring a family friendly haunted house, hayrides, corn mazes, pumpkin patches and so much more, there’s something for every age. Not only will you have a bunch of fun, but it’s the perfect place to capture some fantastic fall photographs!

Edmonton Comedy Festival

 When: October 16-October 19

Where: Various Locations in Edmonton

Get ready to laugh it up during the Edmonton Comedy Festival. Featuring comics from Edmonton and across North America, you are sure to find something to tickle your funny bone during the four day event.

LitFest

When: October 17-October 27

Join fellow bookworms for this eleven day festival that connects nonfiction fans with authors and writers. LitFest is described as: “the place where nonfiction content comes to life.” Grab your favourite book, and head down to LitFest, where you are sure to experience something for your eyes, mind, and soul.

The Canary Room: Live Jazz & Burlesque

 When: October 18

When: Crash Hotel Lobby

Looking for an intimate evening of live jazz music and classic burlesque performances? Featuring performances by Whisper Sisters Burlesque and live music by Keat Aaron & The Swells, your ticket can also include a three course dinner menu by Chef, Nathin Bye. Music, dancing AND delicious food? Sounds like a winning evening to me!

Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes

 When: October 19-February 17

Where: TELUS World of Science

Step into the world of your favourite comic book characters. Featuring 300 artifacts, including iconic pages, costumes and props, the super hero lover will definitely be in their happy place. With interactive elements like travelling through the mysterious mirror dimension of Doctor Strange, transforming into Iron Man and a life size Black Panther and Spider Man, this will be a spectacular event for all ages.

Screamfest

 When: October 24-October 27

Where: Edmonton EXPO Centre

Like it’s name suggests, get ready to get your scream on with Edmonton’s Screamfest. Featuring haunted houses, carnival games and creepy entertainment, this event isn’t for the faint of heart.

Deadmonton

 When: September 27-November 3

Where: 7031 Gateway Blvd.

Get ready for a haunted house like no other!
